Orange Slice Candy Cake
Orange Slice Candy Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. oleo, 4 eggs, 4 c. flour and 1 c. buttermilk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream sugar and oleo; add eggs one at a time.
Add flour and buttermilk alternately until well mixed.
Add dates, orange slices and nuts.
Bake in Bundt or tube pan for 2 hours in 275Β° oven. When done, remove from oven and punch holes in top of cake while still warm in pan and pour over the cake 1/2 cup orange juice and 1 cup brown sugar.
Let cool; remove from pan.
Can be wrapped in foil and frozen.
