Orange Refrigerator Cookies
Orange Refrigerator Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 3/4 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. soda, 1/4 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 c. shortening, soft, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix flour, salt, soda and baking powder.
Put next 5 ingredients in a large mixing bowl, beat on No. 8 speed for 1 minute, scraping bowl while beating.
Stop mixer.
Add next 4 ingredients.
Add flour mixture and beat on No. 2 speed until well blended, about 1 1/2 minutes.
Scrape bowl.
Shape into rolls. Wrap in waxed paper; chill several hours.
Slice thin with a sharp knife.
Put on greased cookie sheets.
Bake in a preheated 350Β° oven about 12 minutes.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
