Orange Pound Cake
Orange Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 3 c. sugar, 5 eggs, 3 1/2 c. flour and 1 tsp. cream of tartar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream butter; add sugar, beating at medium speed of electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
Combine next 4 ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and orange juice, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
Stir in flavoring and orange rind. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 hour and 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool cake in pan 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and cool completely on wire rack.
