Orange French Toast
Orange French Toast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. fresh orange juice, 2 c. half and half, 6 eggs, beaten, 1/4 c. powdered sugar and 2 tbsp. grand marnier liqueur, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Mix together first seven ingredients. Pour into large shallow dish.
Cut bread diagonally into 1-inch slices.
Soak bread 1 minute on each side.
Brown the slices in butter over medium-low heat in a large skillet.
When all are browned, place on cookie sheet (in single layer) and bake 20 minutes.
Remove from oven; sift powdered sugar over toast.
Serve with heated maple syrup.
