Orange-Cranberry Liqueur
Orange-Cranberry Liqueur is an easy dinner. Made with 1 (12 oz.) pkg. cranberries (about 3 c.), 1 orange, 1 (750 ml.) bottle vodka, 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar and 3/4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Start this 5 to 6 weeks before you want to use it.
Chop cranberries coarsely.
Peel orange, using the thin orange part, no white.
Combine cranberries, orange peelings and vodka in a glass or plastic one gallon container.
Cover and let stand at room temperature for 3 to 4 weeks.
Strain into a clear container. Filter or siphon off clear liquid from cloudy liquid, if present.
