Onion Soup
Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 c. beef broth, 4 large yellow onions, sliced, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 tbsp. flour and salt to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Simmer beef broth.
Saute sliced onion with butter until soft, not brown.
Stir flour into cooked onions.
Add onion mixture, salt and pepper to broth.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes over medium heat.
Place bread in individual bowls.
Pour soup over bread and cover with Swiss and Parmesan cheese.
Set under broiler for 3 to 5 minutes.
