Onion Soup
Onion Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 tbsp. sweet butter, 1 large onion, peeled and sliced thin, 3 c. beef or chicken broth, salt and pepper to taste and italian bread, sliced and toasted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt butter in saucepan.
Add onion and saute 10 to 15 minutes until lightly browned.
Add broth, salt and pepper and bring to a boil.
Place bread in bottom of ovenproof casserole.
Sprinkle with 1/2 of cheese.
Pour soup over bread and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake in 400Β° oven for 35 minutes.
