Onion Casserole (Sarah's Way)
Onion Casserole (Sarah'S Way) is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 medium onions, sliced, 1 3/4 oz. potato chips, 1/2 lb. mild wisconsin cheese, shredded, 2 cans cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix together the 2 cans of mushroom soup and milk.
In a 9 x 12-inch buttered casserole dish, alternate layers of thinly sliced onions, crushed chips and grated cheese.
Pour soup and milk mixture on top of onions, cheese and chip mixture; sprinkle with pepper.
Bake in preheated oven at 350Β° for 1 hour.
Fill dish very full as it shrinks during cooking.
