Old-Fashioned Fudge
Old-Fashioned Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar (level), 2 tbsp. cocoa, 1/2 c. milk, 1/4 c. margarine and 1/4 c. white corn syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Mix sugar and cocoa.
Add corn syrup and milk.
Cook on medium heat, stirring often, until it reaches a soft ball stage (235Β° on a candy thermometer).
Add butter and vanilla.
Let cool. Beat until it thickens and loses its shine.
Pour into greased pan to harden.
(Nuts may be added just before pouring into pan.)
