Old Fashioned Fudge
Old Fashioned Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 1 c. milk, 2 squares chocolate, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Mix in saucepan the sugar, milk, baking chocolate and salt. Stir until mixture begins to boil.
Boil slowly to soft ball stage (236Β°).
Set pan in cold water and leave until cold.
Add butter and vanilla.
Beat mixture until it becomes thick and creamy. Pour into buttered tin and, when set, cut in squares.
