Old Fashioned Creamy Pralines
Old Fashioned Creamy Pralines is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 c. sugar, 2 1/2 c. light brown sugar, 2 1/2 sticks oleo, 5 tbsp. light corn syrup and 2 (12 oz.) cans milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Combine all ingredients except vanilla and pecans. Cook over low heat about 30 to 40 minutes, stirring constantly.
When a hard ball can be formed when small amount is dropped in cold water, add vanilla.
Remove from heat and place pot in 2-inches of cold water in sink.
Add pecans and continue stirring until creamy and has become semi-glossy.
Spoon out onto waxed paper and let cool. Using a tablespoon, this will yield approximately 75 pralines.
