Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding
Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 c. cubed stale bread, 1/2 c. raisins, 3 c. low-fat milk, divided, 3 tbsp. packed brown sugar and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Spread bread and raisins in 8-inch square baking dish.
Whisk 2 cups milk, 2 tablespoons brown sugar and salt in bowl.
Pour over bread.
Let stand 15 minutes.
Turn bread over once.
Whisk remaining milk, the egg, egg whites, vanilla, granulated sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Pour over bread. Sprinkle remaining brown sugar on top.
Place pan in larger pan and add water to come halfway up on smaller pan.
Bake until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Remove from water and let cool 15 minutes before serving.
Serve warm.
