Heat to scalding the milk.
Pour over the bread crumbs.
Cool and add the melted butter, sugar, eggs, salt and raisins.
Pour into buttered 1 1/2-quart baking dish. Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 50 minutes or until silver knife inserted in pudding comes out clean. Serve warm with or without sauce or cream.
