Put corn in large roaster.

Remove all up-popped kernels.

Boil for 5 minutes, the brown sugar, oleo, syrup and salt.

Take off stove and add in 1 tsp. soda.

Stir well.

Pour over pop corn and stir really good.

Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Stirring every 15 minutes at 250 degrees.

Spread out on wax paper to cool.

Break apart right away.
