In a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole, combine cookies and apple; set aside.
In small bowl, blend milk, egg product, brown sugar and vanilla.
Pour over cookie mixture; let stand for 5 minutes. Cover; bake at 375Β° for 30 minutes.
Remove cover; bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until set.
Cool slightly.
Serve warm or cold with whipped topping, if desired.
