Oatmeal Pumpkin Bread
Oatmeal Pumpkin Bread is an impressive baked good you can prepare in about 1 hour 38 minutes. Made with c. quick oats, c. hot lo-fat milk, c. pumpkin, eggs, beaten and c. margarine, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
In large bowl, combine oats and milk and allow to stand for 5 minutes, then stir in pumpkin, eggs and margarine.
In a separate bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and spices.
Gradually add dry ingredients to oatmeal mixture.
Stir in raisins and nuts, mixing well.
Place in a greased 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes or until done.
Cool on a wire rack.
Makes one loaf.
