Oatmeal Cookies
Oatmeal Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 1/2 sticks margarine, 3/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Beat margarine and sugars until fluffy.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Add combined flour, baking soda and spices.
Mix well. Stir in oats, dried fruit and pecans.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 9 minutes at 375Β°.
Cool one minute on cookie sheet.
Remove to wire rack. Yields 4 1/2 dozen.
