Lightly grease non Teflon pans.
Cream shortening, butter, eggs, sugar, milk, molasses, fruit and oats.
Add flour, soda, spices and nuts.
Press flat with palm of hand.
Bake at 400Β° for 6 to 8 minutes.
Bake a little longer for crisper cookie.
