Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, softened, 1/2 c. white sugar, 1 c. packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. applesauce and 4 egg whites or 2 whole eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Heat oven to 375Β°.
Beat margarine and sugars.
Add applesauce, egg whites, milk and vanilla; beat well.
Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
Stir in oats, chocolate chips and nuts; mix well.
Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 9 to 10 minutes for a chewy cookie or 12 to 13 minutes for a crisp one.
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet.
Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
