Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cake
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. boiling water, 1 c. quick cooking oats, 1 c. sugar, 1 c. loosely packed brown sugar and 1 stick soft butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Pour boiling water over oats; let stand for 10 minutes.
Stir in sugar, brown sugar, butter and eggs.
Sift and mix flour, baking soda, salt, cocoa and 6 ounces chocolate chips into oat mixture.
Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan or Bundt pan. Spread remaining chocolate chips and nuts on top.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes.
