Oatmeal Chocolate Cake
Oatmeal Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. boiling water, 1 c. oats, 1 c. packed brown sugar, 1 c. sugar and 1/2 c. margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Preheat oven to 350Β° and grease and flour 13 x 9-inch pan. Pour boiling water over oats and let stand 10 minutes.
Add sugar and margarine to oats.
Stir until margarine melts.
Add eggs and mix well.
Add flour, soda, salt and cocoa to oat mixture.
Add 1/2 of the chocolate chips.
Pour into pan; sprinkle the rest of the chips over the top of cake.
Bake 40 minutes or until done.
