Oatmeal Caramel Bars
Oatmeal Caramel Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 32 kraft caramels, 1 c. flour, 1 c. quick oats, 3/4 c. brown sugar and 5 tbsp. light cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Melt the caramels with the light cream in a double boiler. Combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, soda, salt and melted butter and press half of the mix in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350°.
Remove from oven. Sprinkle with the chocolate chips and pecans. Pour the caramel mixture over. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350° or until golden. Chill 1 to 2 hours before cutting.
