Oatmeal Bread
Oatmeal Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. boiling water, 3/4 c. rolled oats, 1/4 c. molasses, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 3 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Boiling water, rolled oats, molasses, salt and butter together. Let cool.
Dissolve yeast with 1/4 cup warm water; stir in oatmeal mixture.
Add 2 cups of flour; beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
Mix in rest of flour.
Cover and let rise
4 hours.
With wooden spoon, beat batter about 75 strokes.
Put in two greased pans. Let again. Bake at 350Β° for 40 to 50 minutes.
