Oatmeal Apple Bars
Oatmeal Apple Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. margarine, softened, 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar, 1 c. applesauce (with no sugar added), 1 tsp. vanilla and 4 c. quick-cooking rolled oats (uncooked), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 325Β°.
In a medium bowl, combine margarine, brown sugar, applesauce and vanilla.
Stir by hand.
Add oats, raisins, cinnamon and baking powder; mix well.
Pour batter into a greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
Bake for 30 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
Let cool and cut into bars.
Makes 24 squares.
