Nut Pie
Nut Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 egg whites, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 tsp. baking powder and 3/4 c. crushed graham crackers (approximately 11 sq.), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Beat egg whites stiffly.
Slowly add sugar, vanilla, baking powder, crushed graham crackers and walnuts.
Pour into a greased 9-inch pie tin.
Bake for 1/2 hour (30 minutes) in 350Β° oven. Cool.
Top with whipped topping.
Chill at least 4 hours before serving.
Can be prepared the day before (including topping) as it is almost tastier.
