Mix cornstarch with cold water in small saucepan.
Add boiling water.
Cook until thick.
Set aside to cool.
Beat egg whites to soft peaks.
Add cooled cornstarch mixture.
Continue beating until stiff.
Add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time; beat until well mixed.
Bake at 350Β° for 25 minutes or until brown.
Let cool in oven with door open.
