Pour 1/2 cup boiling water over raisins.
Let stand. Thoroughly cream butter, Sucaryl and beaten egg.
Sift dry ingredients and add to butter mixture; add raisins, vanilla, toasted oatmeal and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonful on baking sheet. Cook 15 minutes at 400Β°.
Makes 4 dozen.
