New Waldorf Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 (15 1/4 oz.) cans chunk pineapple (undrained), 1 c. chopped apple, 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery, 1/2 c. halved seedless red grapes and 1/2 c. toasted walnut pieces, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. In a large bowl, gently toss together pineapple, apple, celery, grapes, walnuts and kiwi fruit.
In a small bowl stir together the mayonnaise or salad dressing, yogurt and honey; fold gently into fruit mixture.
Cover and chill for 2 to 4 hours. Serve on lettuce leaves, if desired.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
