Never Fail Pie Meringue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 c. water, 6 tbsp. sugar and 1/2 tsp. vanilla (optional), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Mix cornstarch, sugar and water until cooked clear.
Set aside; cool good.
Beat egg whites and salt until it stands in peaks, then add the above cornstarch mixture.
Beat again until well mixed, then add gradually the sugar.
Beat until very creamy, then add vanilla if you want.
Pile on hot or cold pie; bake at 325Β° for 30 minutes.
Should be golden brown.
