Never Fail Meringue is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 c. boiling water, 2 tbsp. cold water, 1 tsp. lemon juice and 4 egg whites, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cook cornstarch, boiling water, cold water and lemon juice; set aside.
Beat egg whites until stiff, but not dry.
Beat in sugar 1 tablespoon at a time.
Beat until well mixed.
Beat in cornstarch mixture.
Put on pie filling, making sure meringue covers pie well into pastry.
Bake at 375Β° until golden brown.
Will not fail or pull away from sides of crust.
