Neapolitan Pound Cake
Neapolitan Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (at room temperature), 4 eggs, 1 pkg. white or yellow cake mix, 3/4 c. milk and 3/4 c. powdered quik chocolate mix, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Grease and flour a 10-inch tube or Bundt pan.
Beat the cream cheese and eggs until smooth.
Add dry cake mix and milk; beat until well blended.
Divide mix into 3 bowls.
Add dry chocolate mix into one; add dry strawberry mix into second.
Add vanilla to the third.
Pour into pan in layers (do not mix).
Bake at 350Β° for 45 to 55 minutes.
Test with toothpick to see if done.
Cool upright in pan for 15 minutes, then remove and cool completely. May be glazed, sprinkled with powdered sugar or eaten plain.
