Navy Bean Soup
Navy Bean Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 lb. navy beans, water, 5 bunches green onions, finely chopped (both green and white portions), 1 c. pimento, finely diced and 3 lb. cooked ham, thinly sliced and very finely diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Wash beans.
Place beans in 15-quart pot with water to just cover.
Boil the beans until very tender and soupy, adding water as needed, for approximately 4 hours.
Add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 1 hour.
May be frozen.
Makes 12 quarts.
