Navajo Fry Bread

Together flour, baking powder and salt.
1/4 cup milk and mix well. Add the rest of the milk a little at a time. Knead the dough until it is soft.
Bowl and let it stand for 15 minutes.
Make balls 2 or 3 inches across and roll them into pancakes 1/4 inch thick. Poke in them with a fork.
Melt shortening in skillet.
Pancakes until brown and turn over and brown on other side.
