Navaho Fry Bread is an easy dinner. Made with 4 1/2 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1 1/2 c. water and 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Sift flour, salt and baking powder into a bowl.
Stir in water and milk.
Knead with hands.
Pat or roll into circles, approximately 5-inches in diameter.
With fingers make small hole in center.
Fry in several inches hot oil at 400Β°.
Electric skillet is convenient.
Dough will puff and bubble.
Turn when golden brown.
Drain on paper towel.
Serve hot with honey or make Navajo tacos.
