Nantucket Cranberry Pie
Nantucket Cranberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. raw cranberries, 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. chopped walnuts, 1 c. sugar and 3/4 c. margarine, melted, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Wash and pick over cranberries.
Place on bottom of greased 10-inch pie pan (square or oblong pan may be used).
Sprinkel with 1/2 cup sugar and walnuts.
Mix together 1 cup sugar and melted margarine, then add flour, almond extract and beaten eggs. Mix well.
Pour batter over cranberries.
Bake at 325Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream.
