My Mom'S Refrigerator Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. dry yeast, crumbled in 1/4 c. lukewarm water, 2 beaten eggs, 2 c. boiling water, 1/2 c. sugar and 2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Pour 2 cups boiling water over 1/2 cup sugar, 2 teaspoons salt and 3 tablespoons shortening.
Cook to lukewarm; add yeast, 2 beaten eggs and 4 cups flour.
Add 3 more cups flour.
Knead until worked into dough.
Knead well.
Place in greased bowl; cover and place in refrigerator.
Can keep up to a week.
Shape into rolls. Let rise until double in size, 1 1/2 hours.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
Also can be made into cinnamon rolls by rolling into rectangle.
Spread with butter and brown sugar.
Roll like jelly roll.
