My Favorite Crunchy Cookie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening (i use 1/2 oleo, 1/2 crisco), 1 c. brown sugar (light), 1 c. granulated sugar (scant), 2 eggs and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
You can add raisins to flour so they will not clump together.
Beat well on low.
Drop by teaspoons about 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
