Mushroom Pie
Mushroom Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 tbsp. chicken fat or shortening, 1/4 c. light cream, 1 lb. sliced mushrooms, 1/4 c. sherry wine and 1/4 c. chicken stock, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Saute mushrooms in chicken fat. Add stock, marjoram, salt and pepper. Cover and let cook 10 minutes.
Thicken with flour.
Add cream and wine. Cover and let simmer 10 minutes.
Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Remove from heat and place in casserole.
