Mushroom Fingers
Mushroom Fingers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. coarsely chopped fresh mushrooms, 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion, 4 tbsp. butter or margarine, salt and 4 tbsp. snipped parsley, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Over low flame, saute mushrooms and onion in butter until soft; drain, if necessary.
Add salt to taste.
Combine parsley and sour cream; add mushrooms and onion.
Chill several hours or overnight.
Trim crust from bread; cut into 3 strips or into quarters.
Spread with mushroom mixture; dust with paprika.
Bake at 350Β° for 15 minutes.
Makes 3 to 4 dozen appetizers.
