Mushroom Casserole
Mushroom Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 to 10 slices bread, 4 tbsp. oleo, 1 lb. mushrooms, 1/2 c. onions, chopped and 1/2 c. mayonnaise, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cut bread into cubes.
Saute in oleo the mushrooms and onions. Set aside.
Mix mayonnaise, eggs, soup, milk and seasonings. Grease a 2-quart casserole dish and add bread cubes on sides and bottom.
Alternate mushrooms and onions with soup mixture and cheese.
Make the day before.
Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes.
The last 5 minutes, top with cheese and let it melt.
