In a large bowl, pour boiling water over oats and margarine. Let stand for 10 minutes.

Stir in both sugars and add eggs. Combine dry ingredients and add to oat mixture.

Stir in 1/2 of the chocolate chips.

Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.

Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips and nuts over batter.

Bake at 350Β° for 40 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

Makes 24 squares.

Squares are very moist.

It's especially good served with ice cream.
