Mrs. Higgin's Lace Cookies
Mrs. Higgin'S Lace Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/4 c. brown sugar, 2 1/4 c. old fashioned oats, 1/2 lb. real butter, 1 egg, beaten and 2 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Have butter hot but not bubbly.
Pour over oats and brown sugar.
Add flour, egg and vanilla.
Place on cookie sheet, 1 teaspoon each.
Spread apart.
Bake at 350Β° for about 5 minutes or until they have spread out.
Let cool in pan before removing.
(It works best to spray your cookie sheet with Pam so the cookies come up easier.
They are very fragile and breakable.)
