Mother's Sugar Cookies
Mother'S Sugar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. milk, 1 c. sugar, 1 or 2 eggs, 1/2 c. lard (or shortening) and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Fill a medium size mixing bowl 2/3 full flour.
Make a hole in the middle of the flour, leaving some on the bottom.
Put lard, salt, soda and baking powder in the flour.
Add beaten eggs and milk.
Mix well and roll out in balls; sprinkle with sugar and flatten with fork.
Bake at 350Β° for 10 to 12 minutes.
