Mother's Snickerdoodles
Mother'S Snickerdoodles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. oleo or butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 2 eggs and 3 c. flour (2 3/4 c., if presifted), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream the butter and 1 1/2 cups sugar until light.
Add vanilla.
Beat eggs in, one at a time.
Add sifted flour with soda and cream of tartar.
Mix well; roll into small balls.
Drop balls into sugar and cinnamon mixture.
Place on greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart.
Bake at 400Β°.
These flatten out and crinkle.
