Morning Cookies
Morning Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/4 c. margarine or butter, 1/2 c. brown sugar, 3/4 c. whole wheat flour, 3/4 c. applesauce and 1/2 c. oats, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

In bowl, beat margarine (or butter) and brown sugar until well combined.
Add remaining ingredients (except raisins and nuts) and beat on low speed until combined.
Stir in raisins and nuts. Spray baking sheet with nonstick spray.
Drop tablespoons of dough onto baking sheet and spread dough so each cookie is about 2-inches across.
Bake at 375Β° for 10 minutes or until set.
Cool. Spread bottom of half of the cookies with cream cheese or peanut butter and top with other halves.
Store in refrigerator.
