Moon Cake
Moon Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. butter, 5 egg yolks, 1 1/2 c. flour, 1 tsp. baking powder and 5 egg whites, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cream butter, egg yolks, sugar and vanilla.
Add flour and baking powder.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan.
Sprinkle walnuts on top.
Bake 25 minutes.
Cut with thin-rimmed glass.
First cut will be round. Make second cut halfway through first cut, etc.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
