Mom's Pound Cake
Mom'S Pound Cake is an impressive dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 4 minutes. Made with margarine, c. shortening, c. sugar, large eggs and c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cream butter, shortening and sugar with eggs, adding one at a time.
Combine dry ingredients of flour, salt, baking soda and powder; sift 3 times.
Add sour cream and buttermilk with vanilla and lemon extract, alternately with dry ingredients to egg batter. Beat well.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Bake in 350Β° oven 1 hour or done.
