Mom's Orange Bread
Mom'S Orange Bread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large thick skinned orange, 1/4 c. granulated sugar, 1/4 c. oleo, 1 1/2 tsp. salt and 1 yeast cake, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cut orange in quarters; remove seeds and white core.
Grind or use blender.
(Add enough water to juice and pulp to make one cup.)
Combine with oleo and salt; bring to boil.
Cool to lukewarm; add yeast.
Beat until well blended.
Add enough flour to make a stiff dough.
Knead for about 10 minutes on a well floured board.
Let rise in warm place until double in bulk. Knead again.
Place in well greased loaf pan.
Let rise.
Bake in 375Β° oven for 45 minutes.
