Mom's Beans
Mom'S Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. small white beans, 6 c. water, 8 oz. tomato sauce, 1 onion, diced and 2 to 3 large garlic cloves, sliced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Soak beans overnight in about 6 cups water, then add tomato sauce, onion, garlic cloves, brown sugar, molasses, mustard and liquid smoke.
Add a ham hock or 4 slices of bacon (diced) or a small piece of salt pork.
Bring all just to a boil, then simmer for 3 to 4 hours or until beans cook.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
