Mom's Apple Pie
Mom'S Apple Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. flour, 1 tsp. nutmeg, 1 tsp. cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Stir together sugar, flour, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt; mix with apples.
Turn into ungreased, square, deep-dish pan; dot with butter.
Heat oven to 425Β°.
Prepare pastry as directed except roll into 10-inch square.
Fold pastry in half; cut slits near center.
Unfold over fruit in pan; fold edges under just inside edge of pan. Bake 1 hour or until juice begins to bubble through slits in crust.
